Comparative and superlative adjectives

Before a superlative adjective, we usually use the article 'the'.
We don't use 'the' if there is a possessive adjective (my, your, his, etc.) or noun \(+\) possessive ‘s (Masha’s, Andrew’s, etc.)
Examples:
Julia is the kindest person I know.
Alex is my best friend.
Sophia is Julia's best friend.

We use farther/further (the farthest/furthest) to talk about distance. They mean the same thing, but further/the furthest is used more often.
Мы используем farther/further(дальшe), the farthest/furthest (самый дальний), чтобы говорить о расстоянии. Эти формы одинаковы по значению, но формы further / the furthest используются чаще.
