We use a/an with singular nouns and the with both singular and plural nouns. Мы используем артикли a/an c существительными в единственном числе и артикль the c существительными в единственном и множественном числе.

To describe the quantity of uncountable nouns, we use containers and quantifiers. In such cases, we count the containers.

Examples:
- bread — a loaf of bread — \(2\) loaves of bread;
- milk — a bottle of milk — \(2\) bottles of milk;
