Is there life after big sport? Alina Zagitova, an Olympic champion in figure skating, says: 'Yes!'

She was born in Izhevsk in \(2002\) in a family where sports played an important role. Her father was a hockey coach, that is why Alina was always near an ice skating rink. When she was four, she started figure skating. It wasn't easy, and a couple of times she wanted to stop her training. Fortunately, she didn't, and later she achieved great success.

After winning a gold medal in \(2018\)'s  Olympic Games, she finished her professional career. But Alina found new hobbies that lots of people discuss.

In \(2020\), she became a TV host in the Channel \(1\) programme 'Lednikovy Period' with another Olympic champion Alexey Yagudin. She wasn't a professional host, so she took lessons from a teacher who helped her with public speaking.

She also started doing boxing and even trained with an Olympic champion  named Oleg Saitov. Alina says she went into boxing because it helps her to work with her emotions and protect herself.

Another sport she started doing as a hobby was fencing. People think that it is really far from figure skating, but Alina says it isn't correct. 'Both fencing and ice skating are really elegant', she says.

Alina also tries wakeboarding and DJing. She says that mixing music gives her a lot of inspiration that she can use in her other projects.

Alina isn't afraid to try new hobbies — she enjoys experiments. She says that to live a comfortable live, you need to find time for yourself.

    1) Why was Alina always near an ice skating rink?

    2) People think that figure skating...
