This is Emma, and you’re reading my travel blog. I’m currently traveling in Scotland with my parents. We’re really enjoying every single moment of this incredible family trip. We’ve been here for almost a full week now, but every single day feels a bit different — that's so great! Traveling through Scotland has been on my bucket list for years, so being here is a complete dream come true for me.

 

Right now, we’re staying in Glasgow. It’s a busy city with many exciting places to explore. Yesterday, we visited the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. I really enjoyed spending time in the colorful art rooms. My dad was far more interested in the detailed history exhibitions. My mum liked everything, especially the impressive historic building itself.

 

Later that afternoon, we planned to go to The Lighthouse, but it started raining heavily. Instead of getting wet outside, we stopped at a cozy small café near the river and had some delicious hot chocolate. It wasn’t on our original list, but it turned out to be one of the warmest and funniest moments of the entire day.

 

Today, we’re visiting the famous Glasgow Cathedral. After exploring the cathedral, my dad and I are going to walk around the city streets and take lots of photos. My mum is meeting a friend in a small bookshop nearby.

 

Tomorrow, we’re planning to travel to Edinburgh. At first, we wanted to do everything together, but my mum really doesn’t enjoy long walks uphill. So she’s going to visit a museum, and I’m going to climb a hill with my dad instead. I’m really looking forward to it because everyone says the view from the top is absolutely amazing.
