5. Travel blog about Scotland

You are going to read a travel blog written by a girl called Emma. She writes about her trip to Scotland with her parents.

 

 

Hi everyone!
This is Emma, and you’re reading my travel blog.

I’m in Scotland with my parents, and we’re really enjoying this trip. We’ve been here for almost a week. But every day feels a bit different — that's so great!

Right now, we’re in Glasgow. It’s a busy city with many exciting places to visit.
Yesterday, we visited the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. I enjoyed the art rooms, while my dad was more interested in the history exhibitions. My mum liked everything, especially the building itself.

Later that day, we planned to go to The Lighthouse, but it started raining heavily. Instead, we stopped at a small café near the river and had hot chocolate. It wasn’t on our list, but it turned out to be one of the nicest moments of the day.

Today, we’re visiting Glasgow Cathedral. After the cathedral, my dad and I are going to walk around the city and take photos — you can check them on my page later. My mum is meeting a friend in a small bookshop nearby.

Tomorrow, we’re planning to travel to Edinburgh. At first, we wanted to do everything together, but my mum doesn’t enjoy long walks uphill. So she’s going to visit a museum, and I’m going to climb a hill with my dad instead. I’m really looking forward to it because the view from the top is amazing.
